I'm a self taught artist who wants to give and receive constructive feedback. I'll be busy in the military, but I need to make time for art in my life.
Yeah. know of god work, I was speaking about local photography. I hate kittens in baskets and other such "calender" photographs. I live in an area where expression is judged by several aging critics. I won a scholarship for my art, but with very critical stares in my direction. One of my paintings was about a nightmare. In the work I stood in the center and around me were the bodies of genderless faceless people. At the bottom was a phrase in quotations " How long will innocent blood continue to spill? This nightmare is real,"
The critics listened to my explanation, but with little interest.They were far more concerned with the violence and gore in the background than the central theme.
Its a pity people don't care to face the truth.

I'm not a very "cutey" person, so I doubt I'll ever stray into such areas.
I like the concept of babies in cages tho
I don't tend to photograph what people enjoy, but try to capture emotion that they may feel.
I like people to look at my work and think about it. Think about whats happening.
I guess I think about my work in advance more than I think.
